I, a registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with children and adults, hail from the tranquil island of Tobago. I have had a variety of experience working with children inclusive of over twelve years’ experience in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education.

My main aim as an Occupational therapist is to help people of all ages, work towards meaningful and functional goals in order to live their best lives independently. These are done through handwriting and typewriting assessment and intervention, functional assessment, life skills training, sensory and behavioural intervention as well as in the development of basic life skills through Activities of Daily living, etc.

Currently, I am engaged in the planning and execution of several projects inclusive of home gardening for adults with degenerative or non- communicable diseases to assist in gaining some level of function through rehabilitation.

In addition to introducing an Early Intervention and School-Readiness as well as a behavioural regulation program for children with my colleagues, I am constantly expanding my knowledge and learning of new things in the area of pediatrics, including Autism based treatments for different ages. I advance towards my practice in a holistic way, always considering how mental health, lifestyle diseases, and self-regulation contribute to everyday life.

I enjoy nature, gardening, cooking, baking, writing, and volunteering. I completed several hours at the Scarborough General Hospital’s occupational therapy department in Tobago and the latest being a virtual Occupational therapist volunteer at On The Ball Pediatric Physio and Occupational Therapy in Canada.
